Custom Orders Terms of Service

I have full rights over the artwork, which includes the right of using the artwork to promote my work for business.
Custom orders do not get displayed on my website or social media.
The client has limited rights to edit and/or modify the commissioned work but does not have the right to claim it as their own and take full credit for it.
If the custom order is to be uploaded to social media (thumbnails to youtube, promoting a service, etc.) I ask you to credit me as the artist.
The client may not make any money out of the commissioned work in any way or form.
The client may not remove the signature or credit from the commissioned work.

Payment:

I will be sending you a quota after we settle on a sketch for your custom order.
Payment will be upfront done online through PayPal in USD (as of right now).
I will not begin or finish any artwork unless I have been paid the full payment.

Refund/ Cancelation:

If you wish to cancel the artwork I will refund you a percentage of the payment depending on the stage I am in. Make sure to check the progress with me to know how much you will be refunded if you wish to cancel.
There will be no refund on completed work. Make sure to talk to me about any changes until you are completely satisfied.
There will be a full refund if I cancel the work.

Contacting the client or the artist:

All communications will be done through email.
We will both take responsibility for contacting each other for questions, clarification, and changes regarding the order.
Do not wait until the last minute! I will not do major changes towards the end of the artwork progress.
Do not spam me for a progress picture, it will just flood my email and make my workflow harder, thus making the work slower.
Allow at least 2 weeks for the work to be done. I will not accept work on a short notice.

Termination of the work:

I reserve the right to discontinue work on your commission for rude behavior, harassment, and threats. A refund will not be issued for that.

Adjusting the work:

Please contact me about any changes you want on the commission.
I will also send you a work in progress for you to review.
You will have three revisions while I am working on the product.
Any additional revisions will result in a fee. The fee will depend on how much the additional work will be.
Final products will not be up for revisions.

General and additional terms:

Please include a visual reference for a specific person or pose you want me to draw. I will not be able to work without them. Written reference is not enough. You must send a visual reference as well.
I have the right to decline any commissioned work for any reason.
Make sure to back up the artwork once you receive it. I might clear out my drive or it might go down.
All of my work will be digital, there will be no shipments.
I am not obligated to redo any commission for free if my artistic abilities improved.
If you request a work in progress photo, I will be sending a lower quality file with a watermark. It is a procedure many artists take to protect their work from being stolen. The finished work will be of high quality (300 dpi or 350 dpi).

How long are you going to wait to receive the artwork?

It depends on the complexity of the artwork, on the commission waitlist, and if you have provided all the information. I will contact you in between to let you know about the progress. Please allow minimum of 2 weeks window for work completion. I will not be accepting last minute work.

The work I accept to do:

Chibi (cute characters style)
Some animal features (ex. Ears, tail, scales, etc.).
Fanart.
Couples.
Simple character design.
Thumbnails.
Icons.
Work Promotion.

The work I do not accept to do:

NSFW.
Robots.
Realism.
Nudity.
Offensive or hate topics.
